Performance appraisal work finalized
Performance appraisal senior non key expert (SNKE) Mr. Alan Johnston visited Mongolia from 05th to 23rd of November.
On the 6th of November 2018 the SNKE met with MoLSP counterparts to review and confirm the aims, objectives and indicative work plan for the SNKE’s 2nd assignment. MoLSP counterparts suggested to focus exclusively on the health sector, and requested to reduce the timeframe.
In the period 5th to 22nd November the SNKE participated in numerous discussion meetings with MoLSP counterparts where new technical considerations were introduced and actions for the coordinating of the assignment were agreed.
The SNKE also prepared for and conducted four workshops for varying groups of participants which served multiple purposes including introducing technical concepts and practices, capacity building for participants, information gathering, and guiding participants for applying their new knowledge to the operational context of the health sector.
Final result presentation workshop was conduct-ed on 22nd November 2018 and it focused on final presentation of analysis, findings and recommendations regarding implementation of the job evaluation methodology, revised appraisal process and documentation including the use of the Knowledge and Skills Framework and the need for additional technical support for the development and delivery of a implementation strategy.
Performance appraisal manual for health sector was prepared and submitted to MoLSP in December 2018, for their review and consideration.
