Experience gained during study visits shared
SECiM project organized a workshop on “Disseminating experience gained during study visits” on 24th of October. Delegations which visit-ed the Republic of Ireland, Kingdom of Spain, Lithuania and Latvia, Australia participated in the workshop.
Each group presented the key findings of the visit in the following topics:
“Pathway to work” strategy for tackling the issue of unemployment and job seekers in the Republic of Ireland.
“Best practice of Employment Policy Imple-mentation approaches” in Lithuania & Latvia.
“Labour Market forecasting of Australia”.
“Decentralization of Employment Policy and Implementation, Experience of the Kingdom of Spain”.
Based on the obtained experience and knowledge, proposals for policy makers were discussed between the participants as follows:
To carry out survey on effectiveness of short and long term trainings.
To have an integrated state institution dataset to register jobseekers and announced vacan-cies of the labour market.
To establish employment promotion center in UB.
To carry out workload assessment of the sum and aimag specialists.
To set duties and responsibilities for job seek-ers and unemployed persons in the Law on Employment Promotion.
